Hairdressing Runs in My Blood
Hairdressing is the thread running through nearly every chapter of my life, from the earliest stories I heard as a child, to the training that shaped my craft, to the studio I now call home in Byron Bay.
My journey started with my grandmother, who was also a hairdresser. As a child, I'd listen to her talk about the friendships she built, the confidence she helped create, and the joy she found in connecting with people through her work. Those stories planted a seed that would eventually become my lifelong passion.
The salon's name is a tribute to her and the legacy she left behind. Her warmth, creativity and love for people still inspire everything I do. Naming this place after her felt like the most meaningful way to honour where it all started.
More Than a Salon
Many of my clients have become dear friends over the years, and those relationships are one of the greatest gifts this industry has given me. Being trusted to share in life's special moments, from weddings and celebrations to everyday conversations, is something I never take for granted. While the salon grew out of a love of connection and community, our doors are open to everyone. Every person deserves to feel seen, valued and cared for.
I designed this salon down to the smallest detail: the timber, the marble, the way energy moves through the room. Every surface and corner was chosen with sustainability and the planet in mind. I wanted somewhere you could genuinely exhale: calm and elevated, where beautiful hair and beauty services meet warmth and thoughtful care.

A Creative Family, A Creative Craft
I come from a deeply creative family, where art, self-expression and beauty were always part of everyday life. Hair and beauty became my canvas, a way to bring that creativity to life while helping others feel their best. Born and trained in Europe, I built my first salon from the ground up before finding my home in Byron Bay, where I've now been sharing my craft for nine years.
With more than 17 years of experience, I've learned that what happens in this chair goes far beyond hair. Some days it's a beautiful colour or the perfect cut. Other days it's listening, celebrating a milestone, or simply giving someone a moment to slow down and feel cared for.
Products I Actually Believe In
I only work with products I'd use myself. For hair, that's Davines, an Italian, family-owned B Corp with over 90% natural-origin ingredients, free from sulfates, parabens and silicones, carbon-neutral since 2018 and certified plastic-neutral. For nails, it's Dazzle Dry and Bio Sculpture, both vegan and cruelty-free, without the harsh chemicals found in traditional polishes.
